Super Long Weekend!

One of the best weekends I had (also very exhausting). I spent two days at Kuya Manu's House helping Info finish our Stained Glass panels. I will miss the overnights and the company. I discovered another secret aside from knowing the FP! (hahaha... I'm now a good target for assasination by Info and/or FP).

I enjoyed Petot-san's debut and I had a great time sharing stories with Janine and Wretzel until weee hours of the morning (Wretzel dear, thanks for accommodating us).

My patience was tested in gluing layers of water cellophane panel by panel ( I helped finish three!).

I had a sadistic breakdown during Sat Skul after being emotionally tortured! (hahaha... "I give up, I really don't like you!"). Highlighted by a mop and chair chase by Boiboi and Romeo.

Practiced for SAG afterwards (I enjoy eating dinner with Zel, Kay-e, Stan, Sani and Milcah. I hope we can do that again sometime). And lastly performed in front of 'extinguished' (distinguished) CBA alumni after the superb performance of the Madrigal Singers (why did they have to perform first?). Zel and I have the same shoe design only hers are in gold while mine in silver (hehehe...).

*sigh Now it's Acad Mode.

Plansem Day 1

Hello to all my avid readers. Pardon me for not being able to update this blog. I’ve been really very busy since the break (since I left Yakal to finish our BA 101 final paper). I’ll jot down a few highlights of my break.

Well as expected, it was really fun (so far the best planning sem as they say). I was quite exhausted every night yet I managed to pull it off and enjoy all sessions. It was really fun being a chairperson (although I had to organize and meet with the other chairs almost every mealtime). Even hough almost all of them were older than me, they were always there to support and encourage me (thanks everyone). The first day, we were tasked to name our groups by scrambling the letters of people, prestige, prosperity and projects to become Pepelo, Pigretes, Ypopestirr and Jeprocts the four tribes of our Kuhala Adventure composed of different committee and ad hoc combinations (SAG-PEP-Mem was Ypopestirr).

During the first day, we also presented our committee policies and deliberated probationary members and yes we had the dreaded slogan-making after dinner which record-breakingly lasted only for four hours (it usually lasts for seven and could even go beyond ten hours). After the ‘short’ slogan-making, the chairs had our Chairs Orientation at the Gazebo on top of the hill overlooking a breathtaking view of the bay, while the new EBs also had their orientation and the rest were enjoying their free time swimming in the gelatin-like swimming pool.
